Whose fault is it that I'm not married yet?

I have seen a lot of blog and forum posts on marriage lately that appear discouraging to single young women, so I wanted to share a few thoughts . . .

It seems that a lot of folks have an idea that if a girl’s over 18 and not married yet, it’s her fault. What I’ve been noticing is a bunch of people saying that girls who aren’t married are A) too picky or B) not trying hard enough to meet “eligible young men.” Although likely true in some circumstances, I don’t believe it to be the norm.

It saddens me to hear so many negative comments regarding why young women are still single. Being single is not an evil!

Young women who state that they are enjoying their singledom and not actively seeking a husband are told that they’re simply not trying hard enough to meet young men.

Enjoying singledom does not mean that we don’t desire to be married. Trust me, sometimes a girl can go out seven days a week, meeting new people, visiting friends, and still not meet anyone marriageable, or at least not anyone who would be a good “fit” for them.

Beautiful Hands,

- Maybe they just picked bad men. Sometimes it's best to be single if we like :)

Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical Theater

Gusti Puteri Retno Dumilah @ PGL

Hang Tuah - The Closing

PGLM and Rani :)

I went to watch PGLM (3rd Season) on 14th February with my friends, K.Ron and her brother Shukri. The show started at 3pm and we were seated at third row. And this was a last time Tiara's performance in PGLM. The
curtains opened to the breathtaking sight of a transparent screen and dancers in traditional Indonesian garb poised gracefully on top.
The opening was totally good at all as the audience really enojoyed very much! What really takes PGLM above so many other local musicals is the depth of the characters. The only bone I had to pick was that the initial romance between Gusti Putri and Hang Tuah seemed a little unconvincing. I would have liked to see more of what exactly made the
pair fall so madly in love. By the second act, however, their passion and intensity appears in full force.
What can I say is the third season of PGLM is played out in all its glory.

Beautiful Hands,
- Two thums up for PGLM !
